 The badges look really weird in the neigborhood view when the icons they
 are attached to fade out due to a search/filter.  The visual design calls
 for doing the same to the badges.  I don't think badges currently have
 entities, but I can trivially add them if it's easy to apply the visual
 effect to them in the code.
