 When new icons appear in the neighborhood view while a search filter is
 currently applied, it should be run through the filter.

 In my experience, I saw new APs appearing in color that didn't match the
 current search. This, of course, should never happen for anything: XOs,
 activities, APs, etc.  The view should always reflect the filter.
