 codyl wrote a prototype of the dbus service which is working well, he is
 now going to write it in C so that we get better performance and memory
 usage (it's really tiny anyway, writing bindings for espeak would be
 overkill).

 He also has a patch for the sugar shell to use this, it needs to be made
 async and to not fail if the dbus service is missing/broken.
