#4698: Boot time 'Hello children!' closely followed by 'dead' and 'orphan'
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
 Reporter: pascal | Owner: dilinger
     Type: enhancement | Status: new
Priority: normal | Milestone: Never Assigned
Component: kernel | Version:
 Keywords: | Verified: 0
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
During the boot process, right before init is started and there is a
slight pause we can read, especially during first boot, this message stays
on the screen for a long time:

 Hello, (children of the) world!
 JFFS2 notice: (604) jffs2_build_xattr_subsystem: complete building xattr
subsystem, 0 of xdatum (0 unchecked, 0 orphan) and 0 of xref (0 dead, 0
 orphan) found.

I find this slightly macabre. Maybe it is my western sensitivity
projecting, but I don't think it is appropriate nor needed.

The short version of this message (if all five variables are 0) could be:
JFFS2 notice: Your flash drive is perfect!
