Comment:

 I think this might be the crash I fixed in 0.6.999.1-olpc20071102,
 actually. Changelog entry:

 "Fix possible assertion failure during shutdown"

 This refers to this Darcs patch:

 "Merge two patches both called "muc-factory: fix text_needed_for_tubes
 leak""

 which would indeed cause this assertion failure.
