Comment:

 This is a space we know we need to consider more, and which we've largely
 ignored up until now.  It may indeed be the case that some forms of
 activities just don't create "objects" in the sense we've been talking
 about with the Journal.  For instance, an email client.

 I think we need to put a lot more thought into this, but I think it's safe
 to say that this is something we will need to support in some form in the
 future.
