 I disagree. Esc should close the current activity.  We need to encourage
 closing of activities and discourage multitasking, due to memory
 constraints.  Any activity without working autosave is broken.  There is
 no problem with having a single keypress to close an activity.

 If you close an activity by accident, reopening it from the journal takes
 two clicks, or one if you press the "magnifying glass" key next to the Esc
 key.  Also, remember that your mnemonics don't make any sense in other
 languages. There is a reason so much time was spent creating a special-
 purpose keyboard with all these special keys in the first place.
