Comment:

 Yeah, it does a bit.  I could make the icon itself slightly smaller, but
 the rounded rect (which I think is one of the main reasons it stands out)
 is a standard part of the toggle button control.  Also, there is a new
 media buttons theme, in which the ply button next to it should be white
 instead of gray, which may balance things a bit more.

 Try switching to the media icons in the system them.
