 Ctrl-Alt-Backspace killed the whole X server. At that point, you may as
 well just reboot. (hold the power button for several seconds, then press
 it again) You may also just follow up the Ctrl-Alt-Backspace with a Ctrl-
 Alt-Del. (eh, Ctrl-Alt-Fn-Backspace probably)

 If the X server restarts automatically, it can get stuck in a loop doing
 exactly that. This generally prevents debugging the problem.

 I do not like the 10-second idea. I once had an X server restart cycle
 time of over a minute. I'd get the X cursor on white, wait at least a
 minute, then get a restart. 15 minutes would do I think, but the whole
 idea seems wrong. We shouldn't be killing the X server under normal
 conditions.

 Being able to deal with crashing X servers is important. Perhaps the
 solution for developers who like restarting sugar via Ctrl-Alt-Backspace
 is to edit /etc/inittab on their development machines.
