Comment:

 Kim, Tomeu and I chatted about this.  Albert's suggestion in #3498 seems
 like the best road forward, and this is much more of an issue than it
 appears on the surface, due to I18N.

 Tomeu plans to make the suggested change, but it will need specific
 testing.  When he's made the change, he'll assign it to you for follow up
 testing.
