 A USB Ethernet adapter supported by the XO kernel, a known-good
 (manufactured) short Ethernet cable, a cheap Ethernet hub, and a known-
 good manufactured crossover cable would all probably be very useful for
 network debugging.  I'd toss in two or three of those known-good cables --
 at worst, locally built cables can be debugged by comparing them wire-for-
 wire with these cables.

 Extra AC power supplies.

 AC power strips seem to be visible in virtually all the kids' school
 photos so far :-).

 A USB SD-card reader (that supports SDHC, such as the !SanDisk
 !MicroMate), plus a few SD cards, can be used as a USB memory stick for
 any purpose, and can also be used in visiting non-XO laptops to allow them
 to read/write SD cards for the XOs.

 A couple of USB memory sticks are very useful for reflashing or backups or
 etc.
