 If a non-ascii character was used as a nick-name, this can occur.

 You have two solutions:
  * remove the existing nickname in the file in the .sugar directory
 (which can confirm the problem's cause, if it is non-ascii), from the
 console.
  * install build 406, which has this fixed.


 See bug #1345.

 If this is indeed the problem, then please close this bug as a duplicate
 of that bug.
