 The ebook hack is almost totally unrelated to what we need from the power
 manager -- it's an application specifically initiating suspend when it
 knows it is idle, whereas the power manager should initiate suspend itself
 when it discovers everything *else* is idle.  Once we have that, the ebook
 hack should disappear.

 The reusable parts are the extensions I made to olpc-power-manager, which
 now knows how to tell the kernel to suspend and change the video source.
