#1474: lx acceleration defects in X

Using a Fedora 7 live image with amd_drv.so copied in from the OLPC image,
I have problems with rendered text.

Text in xterm is fine, but text rendered by anything gtk is unreadable.
The readable part you see in the gnome-terminal was achieved by moving the
xterm window down to obscure it, then moving it _slowly_ back up to reveal
the text one pixel at a time. That seems to cause it to be rendered
 correctly.

Is this a generic bug with acceleration with lxfb, or am I missing some
other changed parts of the X server? The only thing different from Fedora
 7 is amd_drv.so.
