Comment:

 I analyzed the NAND dump image that Gary Su sent me.

 The problem is an OFW version of a problem we had a few weeks ago with
 Linux - the JFFS2 image is getting so "fragmented" (i.e. lots of small
 data nodes) that the memory data structures are overflowing the buffers
 that OFW has allocated for JFFS2 data.

 I can work around this problem by allocating larger data buffers, but I
 need *really* large ones.  With the NAND dump I analyzed, it needed 111 MB
 of buffer space to map that JFFS2 image.

 I'm trying to think of better solutions...
