Comment:

 Attached patch fix it as suggested by Ian. sugar-jhbuild does not like it
 because it requires the -root paramater but we can fix that if this is the
 approach we want to take. Note that this change the build to be done in
 single_version_externally_managed.

 The alternatives I can think of are:

 * Do system installation with some custom scripts.
 * Move the dbus service inside sugar and make sugar-datastore just a
 library.
 * Switch to another buildsystem :)

 I don't have any strong feeling. It's important that we fix it to work
 well in jhbuild ASAP though.
