Comment (by Eben):
I've just posted some screenshots of the first pass Read activity design
on the wiki (http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Read). It's pretty simple and
straightforward, but should work pretty well for many formats. I'm
strongly of the opinion that a "book" should be read in the Read activity,
regardless of format, as Marco suggested.
Our ideas surrounding the web browsing experience and sessions does not
fit together with the book reading experience. The controls may be
similar, and the broader idea that both activities provide a means of
information consumption is also clear, but they are fundamentally
different activities.
I'll populate the wiki with some ideas surrounding the activity soon.
Others may feel free to edit it as well, or toss out ideas in the
discussion page. We need to converge on a plan.
