 The flash supports it. I'm most interested in being able to use SD for
 auto updaters.

 Mitch says:
 We would need to make an image whose olpc.fth supplies an appropriate
 root= argument.  And we would have to think about VFAT as a root
 filesystem - either that or violate the SD spec that stipulates FAT.
