I'm adding an option now to diable the menus, as both they and the
preferences dialog are mostly just eye candy anyway. I'll leave quit as a
menu item for now.

This is how it works on the desktop, and how it should work in the web
activity.

interface. I suspect this because I've seen gnash destabilize the browser
on non-OLPC systems as well. One could argue that the browser should be
tolerant of badly behaving plug-ins though.
Gnash has pretty light usage of the NSAPI. It basically just forks the
standalone player, and uses command line options to se the XID and the
window size. I have seen a memory leak in a plugin cause the browser to
hang, but not much else.
