 Currently, etoys GIT is approximately 200M because of the inclusion of
 binary images. On a smaller scale, TamTam is using GIT to distribution C
 binary object files. This kind of GIT abuse would be attenuated by using
 the shallow clone feature available in GIT 1.5 and later. To perform
 shallow clones, the server needs to be upgraded.
