{{{

{{{
FW (5.220.10.p2, md5 0c97b8238433e6946333cd1ea69355b7
}}}
'''Description'''
We have seen this immediately after a reboot. There seems to be no
communication with the firmware: {{{iwconfig, iwlist, ethtool -i}}}, all
block and return no output. {{{^C}}} will successfully cancel the
command.
Trying to unload the {{{usb8xxx}}} module produces an oops. This seems to
be solved already in git ( commit 1dce5e85bdd5c2efecae9b8682d7baf7dc967d0e
).
The problem remains after a warm reboot. Rebooted three times, and the
problem did not go away.
Added {{{options libertas libertas_debug=1}}} to
{{{/etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf}}} and rebooted a 4th time. Problem
problem still there, no debug info from the driver on
{{{/var/log/messages}}}. Edited /etc/syslog.conf
{{{
- *.info;mail.none;authpriv.none;cron.none
/var/log/messages
+ *.info;mail.none;authpriv.none;cron.none;kern.*
/var/log/messages
}}}
Restarted syslog
{{{
/etc/rc.d/init.d/syslog restart
}}}
Still no debug messages from the driver.
Not much more that I can do remotely. Rebooted a few times, one of them
it all seemed to work for a while.
One more data point: this problem is very easy to reproduce in meshy8,
and has not occurred yet in meshy3. Both machines have with same kernel
and wireless firmware (see '''Environment''' above).
