 How to reproduce:[[BR]]
 /sbin/iwconfig eth0 essid foo[[BR]]
 /sbin/iwconfig eth0

 The command will print [[BR]]
 MRVL-USB8388 ESSID:"" ...

 Running the two commands under strace shows that the SIOCSIWESSID and
 SIOCGIWESSID ioctls return 0, so the problem is probably within the
 driver.

 This is under Build 303, firmware release Q2B81 on a B1 test sample.
