#1152: support unmodified multi-window apps directly

The most "interesting" example I can think of is the gimp. It ought to be
possible to fully use the gimp, and not too horribly painful. (mild pain
is to be expected) The past two decades worth of apps ought to run, as
long as they bring their own copies of libXaw and libXm.

Avoiding the normal overlapping/movable windows might require something
similar to tabs or virtual desktops. A better plan might be to simply
insist that all XO apps run full-screen, but provide a full and normal
window manager so that other apps can be handled as well. (if all apps run
full-screen, the normal window manager will never be seen -- it'd just be
there in case the user installs something that isn't full-screen)

 This would mean ICCCM, probably
