 Urgh, this is going to prove, interesting.

 Do you know the make and model of the PS/2 to USB kbd/mouse adaptor in
 question?

 I'm going to do some digging in the code, but it's doing some really
 bizarre things that do not make sense, and though I'm fairly sure I can
 take care of the crash, I'm not sure that it will actually function
 properly.

 What do you have plugged into the adaptor, the manufactur and model might
 be handy, and a description involving the keys and buttons would also be
 useful.
