 I took apart a few B2 units and they also have this, it's mainly in the
 hinge for the antennas (and it leaks out a little, it seems), so I'm
 pretty sure that it's a lubricant for the antenna hinges.  For what it's
 worth, the hinges for my ThinkPad's screen seem to have similar stuff on
 them (under the plastic) but they must have used less of it.
