This animation is from 1999. It thus does not require recent hardware or
 recent flash support.

 I'm using OS build 303 on a B2.

The page is about 900 pixels wide, and thus should fit just fine. It does
not. Fortunately the flash itself is smaller, but that brings us to the
 next problem...

Getting the flash animation fully onto the screen is difficult. (thin
scroll bars, pegged CPU usage, frame still popping up)

 I'm not hearing the sound.

It seems to be playing really really slow, but I'd need the synchronized
 sound to be sure.

The banding (posterization) is severe. Grey gradients show alternating
bands of green and magenta. Blue gradients show double-thick bands.

Finally, it takes a long time to leave the page. I suppose that might be
gnash shutting down. I typed in Google's URL, hit enter, waited, waited,
 waited...
