 This may be useful:

 We ran tests yesterday (also with 2.6.21 kernel) in an uncontrolled
 environment and the results were much better.

 Iperf results (udp):

 Two XOs (no hop):
 8.80 Mbits/sec

 Two XOs with intermediate XO (1 hop):
 4.14 Mbits/sec

 The XOs were in diferent rooms.
