 That's yet another problem, and I'm glad you've already got it nailed.

 That ensures that what's on NAND matched what we asked it to write.

 But if the file we're writing is truncated or corrupted in the first
 place, it doesn't help.

 And stupid me has done this at least 3 times over the last 2 months....
