 Hi John,

 That assessment is not entirely fair.

 Of course it sucks.  It's not done yet!

 Sugar is prerelease software, and is still in a state of flux.

 A traditional desktop environment does not meet OLPC requirements in many
 respects, including the new collaboration, and storage (Journal)
 mechanisms.  Try retrofitting GNOME or KDE with that.
