 a system with a LiFe battery shutting down well before 0%.  This makes
 sense for NiMH, where we shut down at 15% capacity to preserve lifetime,
 but is unnecessary for LiFe.

 We should check the EC code to make sure it's not applying the same cutoff
 for both chemistry types.
