Comment:

 We used the wlantest.rom file attached here that we got from Richard.

 We captured and investigated the USB analyzer traces with the failure
 mode. I am also attaching the analyzer trace here. We have been using the
 LeCroy USB MobileHS software. I recall that OLPC has also bought this
 software.

 It looks like the host is assigning an address (in my case it is addr # 2)
 through packet # 1036. The Marvell USB device is responding with an
 Acknowledgement to it (packet 1220 in the attached capture). At this time,
 the wireless device assumes the address 2 and ignores packets coming from
 the host destined for any other address other than 2. But the host somehow
 does not get the Acknowledgement from the wireless device and keeps
 sending packets (and keeps polling also for that matter) on the address 0.
 This is how the host and the device get out-of-sync and can never
 communicate.

 Other than that, there are other SoF related frame length errors the host
 which we are not able to comprehend since these are from the host side.
