 Priority: normal | Milestone: Untriaged
Component: distro | Keywords:
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------
 Summary:
 Alternate route Discovery takes long.

 Description Needed:

 1. UUT info:
 Hardware
fw 5.220.9p10 with the driver on build 239.Bus-info:
 Linux
 Fedora

 2. Test bed info:
 Four OLPC Laptops

 3. Test environment info:
 Shielded room

 4. Bug reproduction info

Configure the four nodes in the following manner:

Node 1(Node 3 MAC is blinded)

Node 2(Node 4 MAC is blinded)

Node 3(Node 1 MAC is blinded)

Node 4(Node 2 MAC is blinded)

When the configuration is set as above delete the arp tables from all the
nodes and ping from node 1 to 3.It should take the route 1->2->3 or
1->4->3.Check the arp table at node 1.Suppose the path taken is 1->4->3.In
that case shut down node 4 so that the path is forced to 1->2->3.
For this path to get established it takes around 10 seconds which is a
considerable amount of time. Is there an explanation behind the same or
does the route discovery take that long?
