 This is actually a design bug; it turns out you're supposed to click on an
 AP in the mesh view to associate with it, rather than clicking on the home
 view triangle, and once you do that it works.  There's nothing to make any
 of that intuitive, though, and we're all used to the experience of a
 network icon we're supposed to click on to learn more.
