 Currently my laptop won't start up with the battery inserted -- I have to
 remove the battery, remove the AC, plug the AC back in, and then it will
 boot up.  I can reinsert the battery, but it is not charging.

 Initially I thought this was #913.  I was warned not to let the charge get
 too low, but the laptop was being handed around at a conference and it did
 decharge several times.  The actual failure only happened a day later, and
 I believe didn't coincide with any decharging.

 I upgraded from the q2b63(?) firmware to q2b73.  After that the battery
 did appear to charge -- going from amber to green.  However, the laptop
 still didn't start up with just the battery (and will shut off as soon as
 unplugged), and now the charge light isn't coming on again.
