Comment:

 This is a duplicate of #1729, but this bug provides information that might
 be very important -- I knew that suspend/resume exposed the bug, but not
 that a tty switch from/to sugar was necessary too.  So, we should make
 sure that we add that to our attempts to try and reproduce #1729.
