Comment:

 Given that I can't convince people to respin a new cafe chip to fix known
 hardware bugs, I'm not all that inclined to change this..  Also, dcon's
 version check is funky, since it's using smbus.   It merely checks a
 single byte value; I'm not really sure how we can make that more flexible.
