#1708: boot 451 off USB and nand flash, hung in ramdisk loading

 I tried to boot image 451 from usb harddisk or usb key and it hung when
 loading the ramdisk. Last message before freezing was:

 Loading ramdisk image from disk:\boot\initrd.img...\
 }}}

 It stops booting as well when using image 451 from the nand flash and
 freezes after the message:
 {{{
 console=ttyS0, 115200 console=tty0 fbcon=font:SUN12x22
 }}}

 I tested some images (devel_ext3) after build 406 and found out that the
 problem occures after build 439 (images 444 and 445 do not boot as well).
 This might be a problem with the latest changes in the kernel.
