 There should be a check on color generation/selection that there be a
 minimum difference between line and fill colors for the XO, since some
 interfaces depend on them being distinguishable.  Right now it is possible
 for the colors to be exactly the same; a clever check would compare
 contrast and intensity.  For similar reasons, the outer color should be
 significantly different from the background colors used on the system
 (light and dark gray).
