 We may also like to make Xorg's root background white instead
 of the black (or ugly pattern) upstream default.

 Cleanest way is porbably this:

  echo "X -wr" >/home/olpc/.xserverrc

 We also have /home/olpc/.xinitrc which is another rogue
 file.  Are we planning to packate the initial skel for
 olpc's user home in an RPM?
