For my B4 (that I reported here). It has the image build 528. The problem
is that the battery is not charging. So, it does suddenly turns off, but
it is because the battery was never fully charged. Even, when I leave it
charging and then after a while it shows like it is fully charged (sugar
and LED). But when unplugged then it suddenly turns off, and it doesn't
want to turn on again, until it is plugged, then sugar and the LED show
that the battery is uncharged.
My problem is not that it doesn't turn off. But that the battery is never
charged. I verified this by exchanging the battery to my B3, and charging
it there. After that I can put it back on my B4 and it runs well for a
long time.
For the B2s in Peru and Nigeria, they have the image build 406 and the CL1
Q2C11 Q2C firmware. Some of them do not have any problem, though some,
when turn off manually, they don't turn off. So we hold down the button
for a while, for which we have two different results: a) nothing is turn
off, until we remove the battery; b) the software turns off, but the LED
stays on, until we remove the battery. However, the problem doesn't happen
often to the same machine.
When the XOs first arrived to Peru or Nigeria, they had the image 380, we
upgraded them all. And we encounter the problems after we were using the
image 406.
For the B2s, Yes, all the problems happened when the XOs are running on
their battery. Never when plugged.
For the B4, it just doesn't charge the battery when plugged.
How can I check the EC version?
