 When you open the combobox the background is gray and the selected item is
 gray as well. The one that is not selected is black.
 My first impression was: since nothing else is black i thought that the
 selected item was black and that there was an mismatch between the cursor
 position and the selected item.

 I would feel the other way round where the selected item would be black.
 For example when you choose an activity the one you hover over will turn
 black - same for the zoom levels.
