 urk seems to be a good bet.  it's py/gtk  it still weighs in at over 350k
 without optimization; but we may be able to cut parts of that out --
 especially if we contact the old authors.  This is better than the size
 requirements of most other options, python or otherwise, which range from
 300k+ to over 1M.

 I'd recommend making available for use from the dev console, if we don't
 sugarize it; eventually we should move to a jabber implementation, but
 that could be post-FRS.
