Comment (by marco):

 We can get rid of nearly all of them by making the Sugar *not* inherit
 from the GNOME theme. Those icons are not used in sugar and activities.
 Though that means if you install a random GNOME application on the laptop
 which use those icons it might not work. Thoughts?
