 I presume we've removed xev while we sort this out, so I can lower the
 priority.

 We don't need xdriinfo.

 xdpyinfo has ifdef's for all the various extensions; we should make sure
 the following are configured out:
 * xprint
 * xf86vidmode
 * xfreexdga
 * panoramix
 * dmx
 * multibuffer

 Whether the configure script/automake file has the right features is less
 clear; we may have to do slight work (and I have commit into x.org I can
 do for something simple like that).
