Comment:

 It sounds like your upgrade didn't work, and the embedded code might be in
 a bad state. Please remove the adapter cord, and remove the battery for
 about 10 seconds, then replace the battery and adapter.

 You will need to follow the downgrading instructions and try again. One of
 the problems found here in the office has to do with the formatting of the
 USB; it needs to be FAT.
