#2424: activation-enabled updates corrupt update drives
--------------------+-------------------------------------------------------
 Reporter: dcbw | Owner: cscott
     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: high | Milestone: Trial-2
Component: distro | Version: Q2C18
 Keywords: | Verified: 0
--------------------+-------------------------------------------------------
Every time I try to update, something gets corrupted on the disk I use to
update. It's a seagate hockeypuck drive.

SELinux: initialized (dev sdb1, type vfat), uses genfs_contexts
 FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdb1)
     fat_get_cluster: invalid cluster chain (i_pos 0)
File system has been set read-only
 FAT: Filesystem panic (dev sdb1)
     fat_get_cluster: invalid cluster chain (i_pos 0)

This time, the drive was formatted as FAT16:

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
 /dev/sdb1 1 11813 5859217 e W95 FAT16 (LBA)

and had olpc-auto.zip from 2007-07-23 on it, with build 530. This time,
the drive does not mount as read-write, and the OS image file is zero-
 length.
