 Chris,

 Can you reproduce the problem and then do:

 Alt+SysRQ+t and Alt+SysRQ+p

 You can do it via serial console by sending a BREAK and then issuing
 Alt+SysRQ+{t,p}

 This will dump the list of running tasks and their backtraces - this can
 give us a clue of where
 the hang is happening.
