Comment:

 I suggest doing this from kernelspace, anytime we receive an SCI.  Lid
 open, power insertion/removal both trigger SCIs, as well as ebook mode
 switch and battery state changes.  If we don't want it to happen on
 *every* SCI, it's easy to insert it into the right place in the
 switch/case for SCIs.
