Comment:

 Maybe we should just have *all* flash content initially come up in the
 "stopped" state, with a "play" icon overlaid to start it up. (IIRC you can
 extract the graphics of the start frame from a swf file without needing to
 run any actionscript. And assuming the file is designed to stream, you
 don't even need to finish downloading the rest of the swf once you've
 gotten the first frame.)
