We need a few more keybindings to be able to comfortably browse the web
(or online ebooks) when in ebook mode. Currently, the directional keypad
does panning through the web page, and the X and O keys do "page up" and
 "page down". I suggest:
  - directional keypad does both panning and "page up" / "page down" --
depending on press duration or double-clicking? Sj suggested using smooth
scrolling and a parabolic or hyperbolic response function, which would
make long jumps more intuitive at the expense of the commonly-desired
"jump just shy of one screenful up/down".
  - game page keys: "up" (O) and "down" (X) cycle forward/backwards through
the links or form elements. If there are no links in the visible part of
the page, should do PgUp/PgDown. "Left" (square) should go back to the
previous page in the history, and "right" (check) should follow the
currently highlighted link. If the current highlighted element is a form
element instead of a link, it should toggle a checkbox, click a submit
button, open a drop down list, etc.

All these mappings should probably rotate with the screen.

The Treo devices have similar key mappings which might be useful to
 consult.
